drawable folders

hi there. I'm having a problem with the images.
First of all sorry for my Inglese.
Anyway ...
I created an app and all works fine, in many devices the images are scaled correctly (I used the different drawable-xdpi folders).
Today I tested the app on a Samsung Galaxy 3 XCover That has a display with 480 x 800 pixels (~ 207 ppi pixel density), in cui my image buttons were too big and not scaled.
I added two new folders in Android project under Resources directory, named drawable-mdpi and drawable-lpid, with the same images but again, they are too big.
Now I have a question, probably Because I have not understood this problem completely. I have to use different images (smallest or biggest I mean) and place them in the various folders, or can I use the same images with the same dimensions and Android will do the rest? Thanks.

    Hi Laura83,

You should have different image sizes for the different densities.
Even though you have the different folders, the images within those folders need to reflect the density size they are in - cannot just be the same size.

This can help you resize your images:

Remember the base is 160dpi for mdp, just adapt according to the different densities.

    Hope that helps
