How to debug EGL_BADACCESS errors?


I am developing a game using CocosSharp and I am struggling with detecting certain types of exceptions such as EGL_BADACCESS. The problem is that the game just freezes when this exception occurs and I cannot tell which line exactly caused this error. I suspect that it happens because my game uses ThreadPooling in few places and when the CCNode or CCSprite is null this exception is being thrown. I have tried to check the "Common Language Runtime Exceptions" option in Visual Studio Exception Settings but it doesn't help.
