How to prevent ScrollView going behind secondary toolbar items?

On iOS (see attached redacted screenshot from iPhone), when I have secondary toolbar items on a page, the page does not automatically have its height adjusted such that the top of the content of the page is below the toolbar items. As a result, the top of the content of a ScrollView on the page ends up behind the toolbar and can only be seen by dragging the ScrollView down and holding it down.

I can't be the only person to have hit this. How do other people work around it? Do we know how high a secondary toolbar will be on iOS?

I recall that a similar thing happens when using toolbars on WinPhone SL, but I've dropped WinPhone SL support now.
