Binding a MultidexApplication subclass

DavidShawDavidShaw USMember ✭✭

Our SDK has a native Android class with the following signature:

import android.support.multidex.MultiDexApplication;
...
public abstract class AWApplication extends MultiDexApplication

This SDK is bound into a DLL, which can be used within applications. However, When I try to bind this class, I get an error:

BINDINGSGENERATOR: warning BG8102: Class Com.MyDom.App.AWApplication has unknown base type android.support.multidex.MultiDexApplication.

Because this is a binding project, I don't see a checkbox in the project settings for Multidex. I added the multidex-1.0.1.jar as a ReferenceJar but that didn't seem to help.

How can I get this class to bind?
