Sqlite DB corruption

Good day, i have a question regarding Sqlite Databases. We use xamarin android with the SQLite.NET driver for local database updates. Our application has been growing steadily over the last couple of years but now we are starting to run into scalability issues where it is the SQLite dbs are getting corrupted quite regularly. My guess at it being a scalability issue is because the corrupted dbs are coming back in the region of 750 MB and we have never had these corruption issues before. More importantly how do we go about tracing where the corruption occurs in the application when it only happens intermittently?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

750MB should be fine, SQLite can take much higher, but there are limitations in terms of device memory and how big a result set it can return, I wouldn't expect that to cause corruption though

  • Thanks for the response andy, do you know of any tracibility tool to that can guide us to the source of the problem (ie device memory, diskspace, improper shutdown of device etc?)
