Is the open sourced xamarin-android SDK missing mandroid ?

Hi,

I tried to build the xamarin-android SDK from github: https://github.com/xamarin/xamarin-android

It doesn't seem to include the source code for the mandroid executable.

According to the MonoDroidSdkUnix.cs, it searches for it in the paths specified in MONO_ANDROID_PATH, in a certain path in the users home directory, and at "/opt/mono-android/lib/mandroid", but since it hasn't been built, it of cause can't be found anywhere.

There doesn't seem to be any indication that it could be built from any code in the github repository.

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Tobias Schulz

It looks like quite a few important components are not (yet?) open source. The xamarin-android SDK from github is pretty incomplete...

Does anyone know anything? That's what's missing for building apps on linux...
