What happened to Symplified?!

On an app I'm building I need to implement SAML SSO and while researching I've found that apparently Xamarin made a partnership with Symplified (https://blog.xamarin.com/ssosymplified/).

However, it seems that their website is now dead (http://symplified.com) and the GitHub project seems abandoned (https://github.com/symplified/Symplified.Auth). Also, the component page is now dead as well (https://components.xamarin.com/gettingstarted/Symplified.Auth/).

So, my question is, what happened and are there any other competing solutions?

Looks like Symplified ran out of rope and were sold to RSA.

The original source is Apache License Version 2.0, so it could be taken forward and even reinstated in the Component store as long as proper attribution is given. There's already a pull request from @roycornelissen in GitHub, so he might have something to say about it.

I'm looking at options myself and I'll try and post back if I find anything suitable.

Hm, that's an old one :) We eventually abandoned directly integrating with ADFS in favour of using Auth0 to do the integration using OAuth in the app.

It's unfortunate that the Symplified stuff was abandoned. I'd say you should be able to reinstate the code on Github as @RupertRawnsley mentioned.
