I'm trying to enable Intellisense for AXML in Visual Studio 2013 but the two required .xsd files are missing from the Xamarin folder? Any ideas?
Thanks to anyone who can help...
I suggest a workaround. Just make a try
You can get those files from the above links, Just download it and those files move it manually to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Xml\Schemas or simply just add these schemas within Visual Studio.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Xml\Schemas
Could someone from Xamarin please update the KB: https://kb.xamarin.com/customer/portal/articles/1920119-how-do-i-enable-intellisense-in-android-axml-files-
@YkshLeo sorry for being a bit late. I tried the workaround and found the files. While trying to import "android-layout-xml.xsd" I get an error message telling me the request for certain permission failed, making it impossible to use them in my project. Any ideas?
I just tried this on sdk version 25.1.6, VS 2015 and it did not work. Something is broken since this last Xamarin update.
I get a blue underline when I add android.support.v7.widget.Toolbar
Any updates on this? A select few references (such as android:layout_weight) have blue underlines. Getting sick of it spamming my editor warnings
