Where to start

Hi, Xamarin developers!

I apologize for a newbie question. Currently I develop C# wrappers over a native C++ DLL. I want to investigate whether or not it is possible to apply those wrappers to Xamarin in order to use them for hand-held devices. So my questions are: is it possible? and where to start? Sorry if my post is messy a little bit.

    If you can build a dll and the dll doesn't involve any p/invoke or platform specific stuff, in theory you can produce bindings for both Android and iOS with them. There is a cross platform tool on the Xamarin website that will tell you if your library is good for mobile or not.

    Thank you so much for your help. But the situation is different. Let's say I have 3 C++ DLLs: for Win, for Mac, for Linux with one API. I provide PInvoke wrappers for them. Those wrappers work for Win. I want to provide similar ones for other platforms, cause I don't think there will be serious differences.
