We are looking for an individual who can work alongside our existing web tech team and lead the development and growth of our youth loyalty platform across mobile.

Ideally, we are looking for a highly skilled Xamarin Mobile App Developer, who can work on a continuous rolling contract for 2 out of every 4 weeks. As we grow we would look to increase the required time, with the future intention of taking you on full time to build the mobile division, when the time is right.

With mobile being at the core of our future growth, you will play an essential role and work alongside other parts of the management team to set strategy with the aim of meeting our future exit goal.

You will be joining the company at a point of rapid acceleration and will benefit from the support of our contracted stronghold into the student market, established brand relationships, an experienced management team and secured investment.

Required Skills

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following in an interview and in a coding test:

1- 2 years of commerical software development experience on Mobile platform. Use of Xamarin.iOS (formerly MonoTouch) on either the iOS or Android platform is preferred. Experience with native Objective-C on iOS is a plus.
Experience architecting software on mobile platform.
5+ years of "hands-on" object-oriented software development experience, with a focus on creating large enterprise solutions to solve complex business issues.
Solid knowledge of .NET and experience with: ASP.NET, XML, Web Services, WCF (WCF in Mono is a plus), and JSON.
In-depth experience with C# language.
Experience with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Compact, and SQLite.
Knowledge of NoSql databases, message queueing and push notification solutions
Knowledge of symmetric, asymmetric and one-way cryptography, device capabilities surrounding cryptography and how it applies to securing APIs, passwords and sessions.
Good understanding on commonly accepted software development processes and methodologies. Good understanding of agile development frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience with architectural patterns (MVVM, Request/Response, etc.), and code reviews. Prior use of test automation framework is a plus.
Experience with distributed version control (Git and/or Mercurial) and their accompanying tools/integration.
You must be a highly driven and ambitious person, who is very proactive, keen to get stuck in
