Hello everyone,
I am learning .net c# programming using Xamarin Studio.
I am trying to add javascript code in my design file Default.aspx(html), but could not.
Below is the HTML code where I have added the script tags. but when i compile i get the error:
Error: Unexpected '<'unnamed tag, in line 13 where tag starts
I am wondering whether scripting not allowed in Xamarin studio?

Please see the attached file for the HTML code.

Help me to resolve this. Thanks to all.

    Thank you for the reply Michael Hutchinson. When is the next release expected? is there any workaround for this issue meanwhile?

    No ETA just yet, sorry. Xamarin Studio 4.0.9 (in the beta channel) contains a partial fix that should at least prevent the parser failure from causing a compile error, but code completion and codebehind generation will still be broken. The full fix will probably be in 4.0.10.

    I'm using the version 4.0.12 and code completion and codebehind still are broken.
    I relate it in the bugzilla:

    And the Tag like it take a runtime error

    <%# (Container.DataItem as Servico.Model.Entidade.ClienteServico).Servico.Modulos.First ().Modulo.Sistema.Descricao.ToString () %>

    in the using section I have:

    Using System
    Using System.Core
    Using System.Linq;
    using System.Collections.Generic;

    The runtime say that the collection doesnt have the method First ()

    I declare the collection of type IList generic.

    At runtime, mono doesn't recognize the First method or doesn't lookup for extensions method that is provider by other class in the assemblies like System.Core.

    I don't know, I am only thinking about ...
