I think there are some design flaws with the way the code is uploaded from Visual Studio to the Mac machine.
I have a project with many resource files and what I have found is that Xamarin plug-in tries to upload each resource file seperately and it is taking very long, so long in fact that starting and running the simulator becomes impossible because it times out.
Not only that, but I found a very unexpected bug as well. What Xamarin plug-in does is upload ANY AND ALL FILES within the solution folder, whether they are part of the solution or not. This for some reason also interferes with the build process for reasons that I have not bothered to look into. I think there is quite a bit of room for improvement here. Is there a customization or workaround that is available for the first many resource file upload problem?
