Memory problem when downloading file from WCF Service on iOS

AlexLapointeAlexLapointe USMember ✭✭

Hi!
We are trying to downloading 40 pdf and 40 images from a Web Service. We are downloading files one by one.

We start a Task to get the file binary and use the result to write the file on the disk with a File.WriteAllBytes(fileCompletePath, fileBinary);

We can open the file, everything is fine, but we are getting random Memory Warning and the app is get killed by Jetsam.
We tried to add some GC.Collect(), to dispose the InnerChannel manually, but we had no luck.

We also tried the tool for memory profiling, but we are getting "Out of Memory, NullException, StackOverFlow" during the first second when the app start. It's just not working.

Anyone have an idea? Thanks

    I don't remember what was the problem exactly, but there was a lot of trouble with WCF Service, they are better solution now, use something else.
