Unable to start trial in Xamarin and Visual Studio


I didn't start the 30 day trial when I created my account (yesterday) but now I would like to start it.
In Xamarin Studio I get a 500 server error response when trying to start the trial, in Visual Studio I get a message saying I'm not connected to the internet.

My company uses a proxy setup where they deploy their own root certificate which breaks a lot of https communication in applications where you cannot install the root certificate (browsers are fine). Perhaps that is the reason.

I haven't been able to find any other way to start the trial, is there somewhere I can start it if I cannot do it from the Studios?
