Storyboard: Problem Parsing the XML in this document

I know this issue has come up before, but none of the fixes discussed seem to work for me.

When I open the Main.storyboard for my app I get the error:

"There was a problem parsing the XML in this document"

I used Xcode to check for issues. I resolved, and saved. This didn't change the error in Xamarin even after I refreshed the file. I even tried restarting Xamarin.

Appreciate the help.

Here are the details (abridged):

Ok sorry, my bad, noticed the issue with the quotes being of the wrong format. Several of them were wrong, not sure how they got that way.

    Please close.

    Hi Jaxsun,
I am facing the same issue. Can you provide little more information on how did you resolve it?
    Thanks

My similar XML error was related to the version number being unexpected inside the tag.
I removed --> version=“3.0” <-- from the tag and the XML is parsed fine now.

You may want to try that.
