No Xamarin Specific Code will work?! What gives!?

DoveDevicDoveDevic USMember

So I've been working on a project for well over a month now. No problems. Until today when I turned on my Mac and no Xamarin-specific code can be found. I'm talking about the following code:
`using Foundation;
using System.CodeDom.Compiler;
using UIKit;

/some class/ : UIViewController

base.ViewDidLoad ();`
etc... etc... etc...

So whats going on????

    What specifically happens when you try to compile? Did you somehow lose your reference to Xamarin.iOS?

    It compiles fine which is weird

    So then what do you mean when you say it doesn't work?

    The Intellisense / AutoComplete does not recognize anything. For example...
    I know the following is supported:
    using UIKit; using Foundation;
    when I type this, the auto complete does not recognize these identifiers and when I try to resolve, it says there isnt anythnig to resolve. So if I were to continue, all "Xamarin-specific code" such as members of the UIKit and Foundation, I will get red text highlighted as Mono cannot detect where/what the members belong to.

    If I compile / build the solution, it magically remembers what everything is and compiles and runs on the emulator just fine.

    I restarted numerous times, however when I rewrote the using statements it worked. Thanks!
