Has anyone integrated Dropbox into a Xamarin.Forms app for WinPhone, iOS and Android?

Has anybody integrated Dropbox into a Xamarin.Forms app, that includes WinPhone as well as iOS and Android? If so, what component/plug-in did you use, and would you recommend it?

I am contemplating using DropboxRestAPI ( https://github.com/saguiitay/DropboxRestAPI ). Has anybody else used this?

Thanks,

John H.

Search for "dropbox" in http://components.xamarin.com/ there are some components there.

I hope this answers your question.

Nothing there appears to support WinPhone - they only show Android and iOS as supported.

@JohnHardman If you intend to use Rest API, probably you are good to go with it for any platform. Of course you may have some issue with authentication as few sites require you to provide your own page for entering the login info. That needs some effort if you are targeting all three platform using XF.

Xamarin was founded to provide .NET / C# support on iOS, Mac & Android platforms. Hence you find lot of support if you are targeting those platforms. The Xamarin components are advanced controls / API by 3rd parties. A 3rd party will put effort only if there is demand for it in Windows Phone market, which is negligible compared to the demand for iOS & Android. I doubt if they work for Mac OS even.

Try this API provided by Damian Karzon. I tried it some 2 or 3 years back. But I gave up as then it needed my own site address for getting login info which I didn't have. If you want you can contact him at his twitter handle 'dkarzon'.

    All the best.
