No overload for method OnLogInButtonClicked

Pat99Pat99 USMember ✭✭

I am making a LogIn Button which when click should call OnLogInButtonClicked in the UserRepo class. But i get the above error.

LogInButton.Clicked += (sender, ea) => {
                new UserRepository().OnLogInButtonClicked();
            };

My OnLogInButtonClicked method is:
public static Page OnLogInButtonClicked (string email, string password)
{
}

    What parameter should i pass to OnLogInButtonClicked() ?

    Ehhhhh. But you are common with c# or programming in general? You are not providing the parameters email and password to your function call and there is no empty overload of this method.

    another thing i noticed is that this method is marked as static but you are calling it on an instance.

    @TorbenKruse , the thing is what should i pass. I know i need to pass something, but what should i? I have two entries, named loginEntry and passwordEntry, but they are invalid. I did bind both of the entries though.
