Create APK package - C compiler issue

Hi guys,

I'm trying to generate an APK file for trying an app on a physical Android device.

I'm following this guide: docs.xamarin.com/guides/android/deployment,testing,_and_metrics/publishing_an_application/part_1-_preparing_an_application_for_release/

When I click on "Compile" > "Package VideothronApp for Android (.apk)" I get this error: error XA5101: C compiler for target Arm was not found.

After googling, I found this link systemdeveloper.info/2013/12/xa5101-error-missing-android-ndk.html .
So I downloaded the Windows x86/x64 installer for Android NDK Relase 9D (last version) and then I placed the downloaded folder (after unzipping it) in C:\Programs (x86)\Android (the same path of Android SDK).
Finally, in Visual Studio 2012, I updated the Android NDK path (in "Tools">"Options">"Xamarin">"Android NDK Location").

The error still persists.

Can you help me?

Thanks a lot
Ale
