CocosSharp effects crash the game (e.g CCLiquid)

Hello,

Using CCLiquid effect crashes my iOS game with error "The combination of internal formats of the attached images violates an implementation-dependent set of restrictions.". The game runs fine on iOS simulator. The crash occurs only when deployed to device. I'm really stuck on this one. My code is below.

    CCSprite mySprite = new CCSprite ("MyTex");
    mySprite.Tag = 1;

    mySprite.Scale = 2.0f;
    mySprite.Position = VisibleBoundsWorldspace.Center;

    AddChild (mySprite);

    CCLiquid liquid = new CCLiquid (1, new CCGridSize(8, 8), 1, 2);
    mySprite.AddAction (new CCRepeatForever(liquid));

    What format is your "MyTex" texture that you are loading? Can I get a copy of it so I can test that myself because I am not having any problems on my end here,
