Break on Exceptions settings?

Where did they go?
I can no longer find where to toggle break on exceptions on or off

I would like to simply break when an exception is thrown. What do I enter to break on any exception at the line where the exception occurs?

@mhutch WOW you saved my life. I am totally bald now having pulled all my hair out of this madness.

  • @mhutch (or anyone): Is there a way to create such an exception catchpoint that will persist for new apps I create? I am currently teaching a course on Xamarin.Forms, and for now, I've told students they have to set one of these up every single time they create a new app. Is there a better way?

    Thanks for your help!

    Thank you very mush @mhutch.
This is was a must-have feature that I extensively used in the Windows version of VS.

  • Is there any way to only break on uncaught exceptions? I don't want to stop the debugger every time an exception is thrown from a try/catch block.

my question is the same as Mortens; How to setup debugger only to break when is exception truly unhandled; right now debug is breaking everywhere.....
