I am making an app that would require me to use video filters in my application and I was wondering if this was possible right now in Xamarin. I can't seem to find anything about it on the forums or on Google.
It's possible, do the same way as iOS native. You can apply filter for each frame of video and encode again. Or build 3rd library using GPUImage on iOS native, then make a binding on Xamarin.iOS.
See here: https://github.com/BradLarson/GPUImage
I use GPUImage for a few years.
Would be nice to have a multi-platform library for video.
Works for pictures... does some interesting things.
