I have a simple custom UITable where people can select stuff. When a row is selected in the table I want that row to change to another view. If the user deselect the row I want the first view to return. Seems simple but I can't figure out how to do it. I'm beginning to think it's not doable.
All I can find is this:
cell.SelectionStyle = UITableViewCellSelectionStyle.something
Which is great, if you want your selected rows to change into a predefined background color.
cell.SelectedBackgroundView = new UIView()
BackgroundColor = UIColor.Red
Which at least sounds correct, but it only changes the background of the row. I want to change the complete cell. Can this be done?
