Animated popup -Need a point in the right direction!

Hi,

I'm having some trouble finding the right path to take. I am wanting to show a popup with some information (maybe even a photo) when someone scans a QR Code. The 'popup' would fade in and then slide off the screen as it fades out.

The problem is I have no idea how to pursue this with Xamarin and I am struggling with the documentation.

I have successfully implemented a QR Code reader and a button-based interface but I don't know what kind of element to use and how to tackle the animation.

Any tips to get me in the right direction will be much appreciated :)

Kind regards,

Le-roy Staines.

P.S. I'll stick around and try to help some others out as I grow more knowledgeable!

Check out ViewSwitcher, it might fit your need.

Hi hackzai, thanks for the suggestion. I'll take a look but it sounds like it is not quite what I am looking for. Rather than switching between two views I'd like to simply animate a popup in front of the current camera view.
