Does anyone have experience of getting Xamarin to talk to an ANT+ device? I have registered with ANT+. There seems to be C# libraries available but - as far as I can tell - I need to pay for an extortionate corporate ($1500/year) license to use them. I'm not a corporation, just a developer wanting a heart-rate device I own to send data to an iPhone I own. Doesn't sound unreasonable to me.

I'm also a bit puzzled that the specific device I am trying to connect to advertises that it has dual Bluetooth BLE / ANT+ connectivity. Does this mean I can bypass ANT+ altogether and just use a Bluetooth API to scan for the device?

Any advice would really help.

Kind wishes - Patrick
