Problems pairing to my Xamarin.iOS Build Host over the internet.

I'm running into an issue where I'm unable to connect to the Xamarin.iOS Build Host on my home Mac from Visual Studio 2013 over the internet. Everything works fine when I'm at home and on my LAN. For outside access, I set up a port forwarding rule for port 5000 on my router and ensured this port was opened up on the firewall of both machines. I am able to successfully connect (telnet) on port 5000 over the internet but still unable to pair. This has been tested over an LTE connection over my phone's data plan.

Here are my build/version #s:

  • Xamarin.IOS Build Host - Version # 7.2.3.39
  • Visual Studio Xamarin.IOS - Version # 3.0.54.0
