.Net 5 Question

I know this is still quite far out. I would to know if the future Xamarin will based on .Net 5 CLR or still mono CLR ? Thank you.

There are two runtime experiences now(mono and CoreCLR). Xamarin is not only using mono. If we want to develop a UWP project it will consume .Net Core. This is what we did using .Net Standard in Forms.
the .NET Core and Mono runtimes have a lot of similarities (they are both .NET runtimes after all) but also valuable unique capabilities. So we are trying to combine them together using .Net 5:

Then I think .Net 5 will act as mono on mobile devices(iOS and Android). We could try to consume it directly after it comes out.

That will still need to be seen(compatibility as well as API parity) . The current Xamarin even though supporting .Net Standard 2.1 is missing some API implementation (class library but runtime thrown as not implemented).

I have raise a question in this forum.

It seems our engineer has discussed the issue there with you.
If you have some further questions try to post your concern there.

I completely agree with you. It's still a long way to release the new language. But the product teammates are trying their best to reach it.
