Custom permission in Entitlements.plist not working

I'm trying to use the following security within my Xamarin.Mac project. com.apple.security.smartcard. Unfortunately the permission doesn't work. I tested the same with a Swift Xcode project and there it's working (I'm trying to get the TKSmartCardSlotManager.DefaultManager).

Is it possible to use custom permissions in a Xamarin.Mac project?

I'm not sure what you mean by "com.apple.security.smartcard permission doesn't work". Just like all Cocoa projects, you can open the entitlements.plist file and add arbitrary content. If the IDE doesn't have any option, you can open it in a text editor and make the same changes. I don't know of any permissions that aren't available.

If you believe this is a bug, consider filing an issue with the Swift and C# project attached.
