Used Microsoft.NETCore.UniversalWindowsPlatform v 6.2.8

Those packages in install time gives "Catastrophic Failure (Error 0x8000FFFF)".

Install machine OS - WIndows 10 1803 17134.1069

It is blocker for us now.

Please help.

Please provide the build version of your OS, and check the target SDK version.

Is there any other version Microsoft .Net Core Runtime Package installed on your system?
0x8000FFFF is often caused by wrongly configured system settings or irregularities in the Windows registry.

Does this happen on every device or it just happens on this device?

Re-start your device and re-create a new package and installed the app package directly.

This happen in many device in client environment.
