JIT compile?

Any ideas what could cause this?

System.ExecutionEngineException: Attempting to JIT compile method '(wrapper managed-to-native) System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal:copy_to_unmanaged (System.Array, int, intptr, int)' while running with --aot-only. See http://docs.xamarin.com/ios/about/limitations for more information

Do you have a stack trace?

Marshal.Copy (Byte[], Int32, IntPtr, Int32) works fine for me, so it looks like something else is going on.

Can you file a bug with your project so that we can have a look at it?

  • DeanCleaverDeanCleaver USMember ✭✭✭

It's worked fine millions of times, then out of the blue I got that from just one person - one single time. I doubt I could ever get it to repeat because I have no idea what caused it.

If it's a one-in-a-million issue, then the actual error message and stack trace are probably pointing anywhere but at the real source of the problem.

Unfortunately there's not much we can do without at least some level of reproducibility.
