Suddenly cannot debug on Android

RonNYCRonNYC Member ✭✭✭

Last night I ran my program in debug mode on my phone (VS is on the computer). This morning, the only target I have is the Emulator, which I hate.

I've unplugged and plugged the phone in several times. Rebooted the phone. Close out of VS, and deleted the .vs file and reopened. No change.

Last night OK, today, not.

Where else can I look?

    When in doubt....reboot. That worked.

But...a question: How does VS know where to look? Is there a list? What does VS access to debug?

@RonNYC Do you want to check the running information line by line in the debug mode?

If so, you can add a break point in you project like following sceenshot, You can see the value of control about running line

    .

I guess I didn't phrase the question correctly. When plug my phone into the computer, VS selects it as the debug device. Is there a list of such devices? (I know how to debug; been coding since 1987)

I found this place could see the all devices in the VS like following screenshot.
