Hi Team,
I used PHP and mysql for my webapplication. My company wants to build mobile app. My data is in mysql. I am new to xamarin, how the xamarin forms can talk to mysql dB.

    Using Webservices, or using some MySQL .NET connector (if it works…)

    Where the connection string will be stored? is it in the app? Then anyone can see the connection string right. that will be harmful right?

    I think you can encrypt the string or store it in a password protected db

    Its better to have three-tier architecture. Your mobile application (or frontend) must exchange data by webservices. Straight database connection may unsafe (f. e. SQL injections).
