Why Does a DataServicesQuery Fail in the Android App?

I have a cross-platform app that performs a PCL based "System.Data.Services.Client.DataServicesQuery" to Azure which works for the UWP and iOS app versions, but is generating an unhandled exception in the Android app. The development device is a Lollipop 5.1 unit.

The problem appears to be in the results being returned. In the UWP app, the results look like this:

In the Android app, the results are different. Notice below that the child element under "Response" is "base", but is "Element Type" above.

Looking at Output, the exception appears to be related to "Validating map", but could be related to "no custom HttpClientHandler":

What is funny is that a couple of days ago, the query was working. Something is happening during the actual query in the referenced "System.Data.Services.Client.dll". Did I possibly delete a Nuget for Android Http?

Didn't find the answer, but found a backup which works. Case closed.
