Integrate iOS Flic Button SDK into Xamarin.iOS

Hi guys,

please help me out. I'm totally frustrated for now.

I'm trying to import the native Flic iOS SDK into my Xamarin.iOS project, without success.

Can anybody try to import the Flic iOS SDK into their Xamarin.iOS project and let me know if you're able to access the namespace and their classes like given in their documentation? I'd be so helpful, that I would send the helping guy 50€ over PayPal - as I'm totally frustrated now, without any success for a lot of hours and researching the web, trying myself to bind the project natively with XCode etc.

This is the native iOS SDK: https://github.com/50ButtonsEach/fliclib-ios
This is the Flic iOS SDK documentation: https://partners.flic.io/partners/developers/ios-tutorial

Please let me know if somebody has successfully implemented it. As my project deadline is August. For Xamarin.Android everything is working fine!

**There are a lot of people facing the same issue with iOS - but no results on the web are helpful and working for me. I'm unable to access the namespace, even if the binding library is implemented also as reference in the iOS solution.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day!**

Did you build the binding library successfully ? Is there any error message when building it ?

Here is a similar case : https://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/comment/358816, he can't get access to the namespace too ,please try the suggestion mentioned in the thread .

    Hi ColeX,

thanks for your interest in helping me.

I'd like to try it with Sharpie, but the given iOS SDK from Flic contains only a Flic.framework file. Is it possible to create the .a-file through a .framework-file? Otherwise I've seen it's possible to import a .framework file into the Binding Library, with the given ApiDefinitions and StructsAndEnums I was not able to access the namespace. Sadly.

I was unable to build the project itself. I tried to create/build the iOS Bindinglibrary but there came an error message like it couldn't be created. Do you mean the iOS Bindinglibrary or my Xamarin.Forms project?

Btw.: Is there any way to reach you in an instant messaging platform to speedup the process? I‘d be really incredible thankful for this.

    Thanks a lot.
