Circular Progress bar along with progress percentage outside the image

SurbhiAroraaSurbhiAroraa Member ✭✭✭

I need to show the circular progress bar outside the close image while uploading the photo similar icon for file upload in whatsapp which shows progress i.e. progress bar. How to implement that. Any suggestions. TIA @JohnMiller @JamesMontemagno

    Write it using a CustomRenderer

    Any clear implementation found ?
Edit: the solution above with some fixes on the deprecated spots, does the job.

This answer became simpler in 2020 for anyone that runs across this post. With the integration of: shapes, paths, and brushes you no longer need a custom renderer to pull this off. If you download the example from Microsoft's site you can play around with the demo. The only thing you need is a path/shape and a gradient brush with a minimum of three gradient stops. Bind the offset of the second gradient stop to whatever progress variable you have and you are done.
