iOS App runs perfectly on device, but not in TestFlight

My Xamarin app runs perfectly on my iPhone X when deployed through VS4Mac in debug or release build. After deploying it to TestFlight for testing, the app does not start anymore and does not hit any of my code. The only error I can find through the "Console" app on my mac is:

Attempt to add an app with insufficient id, info {
BKSApplicationStateAppIsFrontmost = 1;
BKSApplicationStateExtensionKey = 0;
SBApplicationStateDisplayIDKey = "io.spotar.SoestTourism.iOS";
SBApplicationStateKey = 8;
SBApplicationStateProcessIDKey = 26550;
SBMostElevatedStateForProcessID = 8;

The app ran perfectly in TestFlight last month, and we did not really changed a lot. There were some Xamarin.iOS and VS4Mac updates in between. I read some other threads about this error already, but none of them helped. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this problem or to get a better debug output from a TestFlight app? I can't figure out what the problem is. I am struggling with this problem now for three days. Thanks for any help in advance!
