Is it possible to disable the status bar ?

I'm making an application that starts as a launcher and plays a video in fullscreen and I need to disable the status bar from showing (+ the drop down menu) because I don't want the user to be able to browse the settings or get out of the applications.

I already disabled the back button, the home button brings back to the application.

Now I need to disable the status bar interraction, I already hide it but it appears if I swipe down from the top.
(I wasn't able to post in questions, the button doesn't work)

Working on Android 8.0.1

    Found a way : forums.xamarin.com/discussion/137432/xamarin-android-hide-statusbar-and-notification-in-fullscreen-mode

    One single line ->

    Window.SetFlags((WindowManagerFlags)2038, (WindowManagerFlags)2038);
