push notifications on xamarin.forms

Hello guys , im new on xamarin.
I have been requested to implement push notification for android and ios on existing xamarin.form project using azure hub.
I have been reading some example and documentations but still can not make any example work.
So ... here I am asking for some advice on how to begin with this task.
Any help would be pretiated.

Dear LandLu , your link was very usefull , I could make it work.
I would like to improve/customize the notifications , to get them similar as whatsapp for instance.
I will try reading about the packages used in the example , anyway ... any recomended leacture will be apretiated,
