Document scanner via iPhone

RogisterAlainRogisterAlain BEBeta ✭✭✭

Since Mac OS Mojave, Apple has introduced the ability to scan a document in a Mac application by connecting directly to the iPhone and integrating it into the application directly.

Can anyone tell me how to implement this in Xamarin.MAC ?

Thank you

Alain

As I've noted before, the forums are for community discussion and not direct support.

I'd start by researching which specific APIs your application would need. I'd start with ImageKit and then see if those APIs are bound. Many of them are, but if not you can file an issue with a specific request.

I personally have not used any of the scanning APIs.

    Thank you for your help.

    There are 2 things:

    1) Can scan a document with a scanner printer.

    2) But what I'm asking here, is what Apple allowed to do directly from a Mac application to use the camera of the iPhone and that the photo is directly integrated into the application

As I said, I have not used those APIs so I am not certain if and how you can do those things.

I would start by reviewing the ImageKit and associated documentation I linked.
