I see the API documentation for the monomac open source stuff - but where is the API documentation for the Xamarin.Mac stuff?
Unfortunately, the Xamarin.Mac documentation is woefully (one might say disgustingly) incomplete. FSEventStream is a perfect example. That class was added in Xamarin.Mac 1.2 and still has not been added to the documentation. Then there's all of the "Documentation for this section has not been entered" throughout the docs.
In cases like this, you have to go to the Apple docs and try to work it out from there.
At any rate, all the documentation Xamarin has supplied for Xamarin.Mac is at http://macapi.xamarin.com.
If you can't find what you're looking for there, then it's either not implemented or "documentation for this section has not been entered".
You're looking at it. Xamarin.Mac uses the same namespace as MonoMac, but contains extra bits not supported in MonoMac, such as GameKit, AppKit and StoreKit.
So for example - I have the FSEventWatcher sample project, and I see it wraps around (part of XamMac) MonoMac.CoreServices.FSEventStream class. But when I browse MonoDoc or anything else I can find, it's not there. I assumed this was because it's part of XamMac and therefore separate documentation... Where should I find the API doc for FSEventStream?
Uggh. Ok, thank you.
