    You need to hide those files by adding the following ItemGroup manually in the project file.

              <ItemGroup>
                <None Remove="\PlantMapViewModel.cs"/>
              </ItemGroup>

    thanx @PrabakaranRamasamy for reply.

    Do I have to write it for every file?
    It never used to happen in PCL.

    and funny thing is that if i remove or delete this meta file, the Visual studio create it again and asks to override earlier file.
    I am realy fed up of this issue brother.

    If all the files have the same extension, you can remove exclude it using the extension name, otherwise, you have to add it for each file.

    Remove by extension from all the folders
    None Remove="*\*.txt"

    "txt" is the extension name.
