Errata for Intro to UWP - Self Paced Learning Course

I'm working my way through the above course and there seems to be an issue with slides 16 & 17

Slide 16 (Load State) finishes with an instruction in point 4 to add an 'if statement' to tests for the PreviousExecutionState but does not say what to place inside it.
Slide 17 (Save State) appears to have the same point 4 as the previous slide along with the missing point 5

A trivial thing but I thought I'd point it out as it could be somewhat confusing

I think its wonderful to point that out here for discussion. Thank you.
But you probably also want to send that directly to the University Support. There's no guarantee that they monitor this discussion channel.

@ClintStLaurent - I've sent the feedback via the survey at the end of the course.

I also noticed that on slide 27 the video goes blank for 20 seconds at 4:36 - not long but the instructor is discussing what he thinks is being displayed and we never get to see it.

Just so you know... There are numerous issues with ALL the lessons. A person could (and should) have a full-time job just doing QA on those lessons.

Many of them are vastly out of date... Many won't even run today in 2018 using VS 2017 since PCL isn't even an option any more... Many of the references no longer existing under current Xamarin.Forms 3.x.... Some of the downloaded source code is corrupt and won't load in Visual Studio 2017...

So feel free to keep sending them emails for the bugs you find. Maybe they'll offer you a job.

If only I were looking for a job - that would be right up my street.

@DaveCarson @ClintStLaurent @JohnHardman please let us know of any issues you see with the course material through raising issues over at https://github.com/xamarinuniversity against any of the classes. That'll probably be your best way of getting it actioned.

I added an issue for the items discussed above: https://github.com/XamarinUniversity/UWP101/issues/1

    Cheers,
    Kym
