I would like my app to alert even if the iPhone is is on LockScreen by sounding a custom alarm sound embedded in the app as resource and displaying a stop button right on the lockscreen very simillar to the iOS alarm clock.
My questions are:
1. Is this possible to do this and if yes how can my app ring a custom alarm and display a stop button on the lockscreen for ios, and maybe even android?
2. Is it possible to bring the app in the foreground and bypass the lockscreen? (if this is not possible at least same as the Alarm clock would be fine, with lockscreen controls to stop sound).
3. Does Android/Apple allow bringing the app in the foreground programmatically and if yes how can this be done.
I am not sure what the limitations are to the extent you can bring an urgent notification to the attention of the mobile app user.
