I'm trying to debug an application on 4.4 device and experiencing problems with getting the debugger working. For having 4.4 bindings in place, I've switched to the Alpha channel (Monodroid 4.12) which is the only option for supporting KitKat at the moment. However, on entering into debug mode (on app launch) I constantly observe process of attaching the debugger to a process on a device (animated icon in the IDE) which never completes. As a result, I can't catch app crashes, use breakpoints, stack calls, tracing and all other debug techniques which greatly improve developers' life.
At the same time, 4.3 and lower Android version work fine with these updates which makes me think that this is 4.4 related issue. I just would like to know if there's something that's broken in the current Alpha updates and is getting fixed now? And if yes, when we can expect this to being rolled out?
