XAML Compilation Fails for Android Build on TFS

VelocityVelocity NZMember ✭✭✭

After upgrading to XF 3.0 latest stable, our Android build definition fails on XAML compilation.
The following errors are produced:

XamlC:
Compiling Xaml, assembly: obj\Release\netstandard2.0\App.UI.dll
App.xaml(0,0): Error : Value cannot be null.

This same error is produced for all XAML pages and views.
Building the project in VS2017 completes successfully with no errors.

We have tried modifying the CSPROJ in different ways, but to no avail.
Reverting to Xamarin Forms 2.5.x resolves the issue. Any ideas?

Hi, I've just updated to Xamarin.Forms 3.1 and Xamarin.Android.Support 27.0.2.1 and found the same issue in VSTS (previously compiling OK, now the same issue)

    Any update on this?

Any update on this? Only have this problem when trying to build my solution in VSTS and seems to refer to Parameter 'type'
