I've created a custom Editor (i.e. created a class that inherits from Xamarin.Forms.Editor). I've added a PlaceholderText property, as well as color properties for focused and unfocused states. I've then created custom renderers to reflect these properties in the rendered native controls.
However, on UWP the PlaceholderText is shown at the bottom of the native control (FormsTextBox) instead of at the top. It appears that there is a default template being used which specifies the VerticalContentAlignment. Can anybody tell me please how to override the vertical content alignment setter in that default template in my XF UWP resources/code to set the vertical alignment for the FormsTextBox's placeholder text to Top?
