Title: Hololens...Come out and network with other Xamarin developers
Date: Tuesday, April 17, 2018
Time: 06:30 PM
Microsoft Technology Center
45 Liberty Blvd.
Malvern, PA, 19355

Host: Mid Atlantic Xamarin User Group

Presenter: Tim Yocum - Software Architect and managing partner at Yocum Technology Group

Come out and meetup with other Xamarin developers. If you have an app that you are working on that you'd like to demo and share with the group, please let us know in the comments. It's always fun to see what everyone is building. Our January speaker had a scheduling conflict and had to reschedule to March. But, we'll have a presentation ready to go. Also, if you haven't had a chance to check out the Hololens, come out and to January's meeting for a chance to see it in action. As always, pizza and soft drinks will be provided. Please RSVP so we have an accurate head count for food.

Tim Yocum will present a topic on developing for the Hololens with Xamarin, UrhoSharp, and Microsoft Cognitive services. Tim is a software architect with over 20 years of experience in various areas of technology. Most recently he has been specializing in custom .NET development (focusing on MVC, jQuery, KnockOut, react); Azure; and mobile development (Xamarin Certified Developer). His varied background includes working on projects as a custom development consultant (web services, web sites, mobile apps, etc), and database designer / data warehouse designer. He is active in the Microsoft user community, was the speaker coordinator for the Lehigh Valley.Net users group for many years; and is currently of the co-organizers of the Mid Atlantic Xamarin Users Group. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Tim is a software architect and managing partner at Yocum Technology Group (, and can be found here on LinkedIn:
