Debug Prism app with Xamarin Live Player

I'm trying to use Xamarin Live Player 1.5.196 (696) on Android, to debug a XF Prism.DryIoc app.

It works well for preview, but when I try to debug, I get the following error on the device:

Visualization Error: Object reference is not set to an instance of an object (NullReferenceException).

I could manage to retrieve any StackTrace or other info, but when I hit Ctrl+Alt+Break (Break All), it stops in the PCL's (.NetStandard) App class:

It says:

Unable to cast object of type 'System.RuntimeType' to type 'Mono.Debugger.Soft.TypeMirror'. I don't exactly what it is at all, it's on of the inner variables in 'null', the Application is initialized with.

I got an official answer from the Prism ninjas (@BrianLagunas), that this is a known issue that's not planned to fix soon.
So forget about live player, just stick to emulators.
