I am trying to figure out why my XF UWP app is not working properly when running in release mode, so in debug mode I checked the Compile with .NET Native tool chain and start debugging my app and the performance is shocking. I then check all the Break When Thrown options in the Exception settings and I am getting **alot ** (hundreds???) of breaks with the following exception being raised :-
System.PlatformNotSupportedException: 'Operation is not supported on this platform.'
**Without **Compile with .NET Native tool chain checked the app performs very well.
Can anyone tell me why this is the case? How can UWP be even supported in XF when the Compile with .NET Native tool chain option causes so many problems? And based on research you can't submit an app to the store without it.
