Hi all) I've released new package for Xamarin.Forms (Something like Tinder's CardsView)
Maybe, someone will be interested in it
nuget.org/packages/CardsView/ -- nuget
github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView -- source and samples
Also you can use it as carouselview
@AndreiMisiukevich_ - Is UWP supported/planned?
Yes, it should work for UWP too, but I'm not sure
Honestly speaking, I haven't tested it on UWP, because I'm working with Mac.
So, you can try it - I will be grateful)
A contributor added UWP sample project
Version 1.3.0 is released.
So, in one package you have CardsView (like tinder app has) and classic CarouselView
More info you can find here:
I updated documentation
I will be glad any reactions)
New release is ready for use)
Added indicators fading feature and slideshow feature
@AndreiMisiukevich_ please help me set the cyclical flag?
@majoseminan How exactly can I help?)
if you use CarouselView control IsCyclical = true by default and you no need to set up something
if you use CardsView control just set IsCyclical = true.
@AndreiMisiukevich_ Thank you for replying! I think I found it. My currentcontext is null . I am trying that now. Great nuget package btw .
CurrentContext is property for auto context managing (if you don't want to create Queue of cards.. you can find sample for it)
So, if you use Items property (Queue style), current context will be null, it's ok
https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView new version is coming more stable then previously!
1.5.1 version is available through nuget
I created issue with suggestion to merge this plugin as primary CarouselView / CardsView
you can support my intent through the link above
We added docs folder for getting more info about this control
thanks for your effort.
Can I use your plugin as a drop-in replacement for the popular CarouselView or does it need adaptions to get it working?
Thanks for feedback.
This plugin has got friendly api and it would be easy to migrate from another CarouselView
Properties: SelectedItem, SelectedIndex, ItemsSource, ItemTemplate etc. more you can find in documentation
Thanks for the quick reply, I will look into it.
IsRightToLeftFlowDirectionEnabled property added
So, now this plugin supports RTL direction / localization
1.5.8 version is ready now
bump 1.5.9 https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView/releases
Added swipe detecting (Left, Right, Up, Down)
You can use ItemSwiped event or ItemSwipedCommand
1.6.1 is coming
Added possibility to use this plugin with disabled animations [ANDROID]
Fixed UWP resize crash issue
Added Left/Right arrows feature
1.6.4 added https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView
https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView custom animation for CarouselView? Easy!) It can be achieved with this plugin
Should I add some defined animation processors for any types of animations?
CoverFlowView is added as pre-release feature. but it's available for test
new release https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView/releases/tag/1.6.7
Added mac support
Hi guys, any wishes ? (new types of animations etc.)
Release 1.6.9 is here
Added IEnumerable support for ItemsSource (So, if you want to access item by index, use indexer which was added too)
var item = carouselView;
var item = carouselView;
Fixed bug with applying style to control (it didn't affect two properties) https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView/issues/156
I want center view a bit larger than previous and next one in cover flow view.
Add IsCurrent property to your card view model
And add binding to IsCurrent (if true, make it bigger else smaller)
Also you may extend base processors and make everything you want during interaction https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView/tree/master/PanCardView/Processors
Fixed some bugs for CoverFlowView https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView
Added GTK support https://github.com/AndreiMisiukevich/CardView/releases/tag/2.0.5
Windows 10 UWP
added new type of animation
